Ancient traditions are used for creating the leathers which originate from top quality hides, in the past used solely for the very best of leather goods. Only by demanding this top grade leather has it been possible to guarantee the necessary quality and durability of the LeQr rug. Strong nylon thread is used for stitching the individual leather panels together and leather strips are used on the reverse side of the rug for extra strengthening.Being a natural material, leather will darken and its colours will change with age, use and through exposure to light. Particularly after a prolonged period of use and ageing its real strengths become evident.

ROSE

A beautifully lustrous hand knotted silk rug, delicately ornate in soft hues and subtle low relief. A background of robust Tibetan wool perfectly offsets the raised silk rose petals. This combination of fibres makes the Rose rug glow, creates depth and gives distinct character to this timelessly classy and neutral rug design. Depending on the way in which the light catches the pile the rose petals either light up, shining in a warm silky silver-cream, or stand out in pale ochre yellow against the cream wool background. It's a very subtle silk rug design but one with great presence and providing long-lasting under-foot luxury.
