Nicolette Brunklaus graduated in Art from the Minerva Art Academy in Groningen, the Netherlands in 1988. During the next ten years she worked as a designer, independently as well as for high end department stores, until she founded her own company in Amsterdam in 1998. Through this portal her designs now sell to private and corporate clients worldwide.

Nicolette's work is of a very personal nature and finds its inspiration in a wide field of interests, ranging from contemporary art and modern architecture to writers, musicians, nature and the simple things which surround her in everyday life.
Like all good design, Nicolette's work is about the successful communication between art object and user, about individuality and unique, lasting appeal. Each and every one of her designs shows her trademark characteristics: clean simple lines, subtle decorative accents, natural friendly materials and understated but very stylish chic.
