STEFAN HEILIGER
Born in 1941 in Berlin, Germany, Stefan Heiliger studied design at the Universities of Ulm and Stuttgart. He worked as a designer for Mercedes Benz from 1964 - 1977 and presented his first own furniture designs in 1966 which soon received international design awards. Motivated by the strong recognition his work received, he founded his own Frankfurt design studio Heiliger Design in 1978 and formed collaborations with various renowned manufacturers in the car and furniture industries.

Stefan Heiliger is now a professor at Offenbach University, where he teaches vehicle and furniture design.
