377/2 Laser Sintered Light by JANNE KYTTÄNEN for FOC
Part of the Within4Walls Collection since 2006
377/2 is a variation on Janne's original 377 table light and, like its predecessor, is a design in which Fibonacci number sequences play a crucial role. The light design was inspired by the growing pattern of the coneflower seeds. The 377 'petals' are arranged around the bulb in absolute perfect order, so the beauty of their illumination is constant no matter which view angle you take.
Like its predecessor, 377/2 is a bit of a mixture between a table and a wall light - its thin design and the fact that it is open at the back make it ideal for very shallow spaces or narrow table tops where you need to place the light close to the wall.
Also have a look at the similar designs of Janne's 1597 wall sconce and 610 table light.
