NEPENTHE LED Chandelier by TRISHA ENES for Within4Walls
Part of the Within4Walls Collection since 2009
The unique Nepenthe LED Chandelier is an amalgamation of two original light designs which Trisha created for her 2007 Degree Show.
The light shows how electrical wire can be used beautifully, not only to power a light but also to capture and play with it.
Nepenthe consists of delicate light pods, 26 for the rectangular and 19 for the circular version, hand-knitted from fine silver-coated insulated wire and suspended in loose formation. Tiny LED bulbs located in the pods emit subtle white light to playful effect. When lit, the cluster of organic shaped illuminated pods creates a graceful and deeply serene focal point for the space in which it is installed.
Nepenthe's plain ceiling unit houses the transformer(s). Standard total drop length for the light is approx.110cm but this can be shortened or lengthened on request.
We also welcome bespoke enquiries.
