The exquisite Kirchschlag Collection consists of a small series of hand engraved crystal glass pendants in two sizes and five patterns. Produced in close relationship with highly skilled glass blowers and engravers, these sublimely elegant lights unite the sparkling beauty of crystal glass and the extraordinary workmanship of talented Swedish and UK expert craftsmen.
The maximum size in which the Kirchschlag pendants can be produced is limited by the craftsman`s ability to handle the large glass body and turn it over a copper wheel to engrave the straight lines free hand. The delicately engraved patterns beautifully accentuate the gentle curve of the crystal sphere, resulting in a highly aesthetic decorative but also very functional pendant light of the most stunning beauty.
The high-performance yet energy efficient IRC halogen light source brings out the incomparable shine of the hand blown crystal glass and beautifully sets off the contrasting delicate engravings. To minimise glare, the halogen light bulb is placed in a sand-blasted diffuser.
Expertly hand produced in Sweden and the UK, each handmade Kirchschlag pendant light is numbered.
